Why Go Small? Why Use a Compact Camera?

Written by Jessica Wallach on . Posted in Jessica Wallach

Why use a compact system camera? So here when Will invited me to join this project of using the compact camera as a pro and blog about it, I said, “Of course!” A smaller camera with a big picture will help me to tell my clients’ stories better. In my sessions last year, we did two types of photos, we almost always set up my big light somewhere inside or outside and did more classic family portraits. Then, we would go do what the family is passionate about.  This year, I will use my DSLR for the more classic work and then the Lumix GF3 for the rest of the session and we will take videos along with the stills. We will be picturing it more and more.
